Refund policy

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love what you create with your purchase from Nuts & Bolts Fabric.

We accept returns within 30 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in their original condition, and in original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.


Non-Returnable Items

Because many of our products are cut or prepared specifically for you, the following items are non-returnable:

  • Cut fabric (including yardage)
  • Custom or made-to-order items
  • Sale items and gift cards

Eligible Returns

We gladly accept returns on the following items if they are unused and in original condition:

  • Notions
  • Books
  • Patterns
  • Kits and precuts

How to Start a Return

If your return is approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your item.
Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.


Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us right away so we can make it right.


Exchanges

The easiest way to exchange an item is to return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the approval status. If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to process the refund.
